NOTICE – 2nd TOUR Vietnam 105 Field Battery Members

ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD OF THE CGWP UNIT CITATION

The Australian Government Department of Defence, Honours and Awards had published the eligibility list for the Award of the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Unit Citation (CGWP) which has been expanded to include units under the operational control of United States Military Assistance Command Vietnam.  This list includes 1st Field Regiment RAA Vietnam service from 25th February 1969 to 10th May 1970.

Hence all members of 105th Field Battery (a sub-unit of 1st Field Regiment RAA) who served in Vietnam are expected to be eligible for the award of the CGWP Unit Citation.

Eligible members must apply to Defence Honours and Awards to verify their eligibility and receive the award.

Applicants will need to select this particular Award in the application, and include their name and regimental number, and current contact details and address.  Applications can be made online.

2023 REUNION and AGM – Tweed Heads 5th to 7th October 2023 

The 2023 Reunion and AGM was held at Tweed Heads from Thursday 5th October 2023 to Saturday 7th October 2023.  

The events included a Thursday evening Welcome Reception; a Friday coach trip and day visit to the current 105th Battery at Enoggera; a Tweed River boat cruise on Saturday, and the AGM and Reunion Dinner on Saturday evening. 

A Reunion Report and photos will be published in Tiger Rag Ed61 (TR61).  Images will be published on the website shortly in the GALLERY.

ANZAC Day 2024.

In 2024, Members can re-establish their 105th Battery RAA camaraderie  and friendships on Anzac day around Australia by contacting their local 105 Battery Association representative in the following locations.  Click on the name below of your area organiser.
